DEBRA GLASS is the author of more than thirty-five books spanning multiple genres, including folklore, local history, and romance—with several of her titles published under a pen name. Since childhood, she has been fascinated by things that go bump in the night. While writing her True Ghost Stories of the Shoals collection, she realized many of these eerie tales were set right in her hometown of Florence, Alabama, inspiring her to start a ghost walk tour. Since its inception in 2002, the Haunted History of the Shoals Ghost Walk Tour has become a perennial favorite during the Halloween season.
Debra lives in Alabama with her family, a smart alec ghost (who you might encounter on the tour!), and a glaring of diabolical cats.
